At this stage we clear your site, removing the top soil & vegetation. There is an initial set out and the site is cut & filled providing the pad for the home being constructed. Temporary fencing is erected, silt barriers are installed & temporary power is organized. Any retaining walls required are completed at this stage. The building set out is done along with site drainage, and the installation of under slab pipes. Foundations are laid with any waterproofing required complete. The slab is prepped, reinforced, poured and brickwork for the base is finished.
By far this is the quickest stage of your build, giving you a feel for your finished home. Framing will begin shortly after the slab is finished. This stage encompasses wall framing & roof truss installation ready for roof. The structure is wrapped to protect the interior & retain insulation. Structural flooring is installed (on a highset home).
Your home will begin to take on it’s finished look. The roof, fascia & gutter are fixed and the windows & doors will be installed. Brickwork or cladding will be complete and the rough in for the plumbing, electrical, phone, data and gas if applicable. The front door will be installed and if applicable any internal stairs fitted.
Roof and wall insulation will be installed. The rough in completed for any air conditioning, plaster board will be fixed and set including ceiling boards, wall boards & cornices. Waterproofing of the wet areas is completed and the main plumbing fixtures are installed. Tiling is done for both the walls and floor and the cabinetry is installed. Doors and mouldings are fitted along with the installation of the garage door.
This is the final stage in the construction of your home. Plumbing fit off completed along with the painting of both internal and external areas. Fit off for the electrical is completed with lights, power points and appliances installed. Driveways and paths are constructed and the internal floor coverings installed.
